Christmas at Caistor Grammar School

  • Written by:

We celebrate Christmas in a variety of ways at Caistor Grammar School. Already we have gained two Christmas trees in our Foyer, one courtesy of the Friends of Caistor Grammar School.

We are also looking forward to our Christmas Lunch on Wednesday 10th December, and our Autumn Concert will no doubt have a couple of seasonal items and is not to be missed on Tuesday 9th December 2014.

Additionally, in the last week of our Term, there are two very special events: Our Christmas Evening which is at 7pm on Tuesday 16th December begins with a service of Carols and Readings in Caistor Parish Church and is followed by a wonderful reception organised by the Friends of Caistor Grammar School and our Term ends on the afternoon of Thursday 18th December with a Service of Nine Lessons and Carols.

Please note, that whilst we are very enthusiastic about as many people as possible, parents, other relatives, and other friends of the School, attending our Autumn Concert and our Christmas Evening we simply do not have the space to accommodate any parents for our Service of Nine Lessons and Carols, sadly.

The Friends of Caistor Grammar School also organise a Christmas Wish List which provides a chance for grateful parents to support the life of the School and particularly help their favoured department or extracurricular area. Below is a link guiding you to the Christmas Wish List just in case it did not reach home by student delivery. All offerings are gratefully received and should be simply sent to the School Office marked “Christmas Wish List”.
