We are very pleased to welcome a party of Chinese students in the first leg of our annual exchange. I am extremely proud of our relationship with the Tangshan Language School in China. Every year, a good number of our Year 12 students get the chance to stay for a fortnight in Tangshan and act as International Ambassadors for the school for the year. The following Autumn, they act as hosts to the same number of Chinese students visiting us.
I am grateful to our International Co-ordinator, Dr Dan Wilton, who has done a marvellous job once again in facilitating the whole trip. We are also grateful to our sister school in this relationship, Christ’s Hospital School in Lincoln, and their Head Teacher, Dr Andy Wright and their long-standing International Co-ordinator, Mr Chris Williams. The students whose families looked after our Chinese visitors need special praise and I am very grateful to them.
