A large and appreciative audience of prizewinners and their parents were thrilled to hear from Guest of Honour, Iby Knill, about her life and philosophy at our School’s Award Evening. Over 200 prizes were presented and many records were celebrated throughout the Evening.
Mr Roger Hale, Headmaster, produced a list of 50 memorable days in the 2014/15 academic year which captured in part the essence of the School: full of activity and shared endeavour. Iby Knill is a writer and speaker who is also a Holocaust survivor. At 91, she is one of very few people left living in the UK with this terrible memory. She has spoken across the country and is a gifted and inspirational speaker. Her core message is: “under the skin we are all the same – each one of you can make a difference.”
