Les Miserables – The West End Comes to Caistor

Posted on 18th January 2013

STOP PRESS Tuesday night’s performance was even better than Mondays! Standing ovation second night running! We were honoured to have Tony Jewitt, a professional actor, who has had a lead role in Les Miserables in the West End Production in the audience and he sent an email to us to say: “Wow wee! What a fantastic show! The whole cast, crew, musicians etc were fabulous. My wife, Sue, enjoyed it more than at Shaftesbury Avenue, London! Bless her!” More photos on Flickr here >>

Last night’s first night of Les Miserables was absolutely stunning and wowed a capacity audience. Everyone involved in this production deserves considerable praise but special thanks must go to Mrs Bernadette Harris and all the Friends of Caistor Grammar School who produced such incredible costumes, to Mrs Ailsa Wish for her stunning set designs built by slides, Mr Michael Robinson for his technical support, Producers, Mrs Briony McNeilly and Mr Robert Harris and Musical Director, Mrs Fran Thompson. Please enjoy the pictures of the show.
