Caistor Grammar School are proud to announce that tickets for this year’s performance of ‘The Addams Family’ (Schools’ Edition) will be on sale from today, priced at £8 for adults and £6 for children and concessions. The show will run for three nights: Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th October at Caistor Town Hall, with all performances starting at 7pm.
Students have been working flat out since before the summer holidays to bring this family friendly, all singing, all dancing story of the ghoulish Addams Family and their doomed attempt to have ‘One Normal Night’ for little Wednesday Addams to celebrate her engagement to college boy Lucas Beineke. The night is sure to be a showcase of the best of Caistor’s talents, whether in the orchestra, on stage, or behind the scenes, and demand for tickets is expected to be high.
Tickets are on sale through ParentMail and will be distributed to students by form tutors. A small number of tickets will be available from the school reception.
The annual Quiz takes place on Friday 22 November, at 7pm prompt, in the Dining Hall. Tickets are £7.50 each, which includes a Savage’s fish and chip supper (other meal options are available), and are available through ParentMail. Teams should consist of 6 people, and you can arrange your own team before the night, or you can make up teams on the day; it’s a great way to meet new people. There is also a game of ‘sit down’ bingo in the interval. This is a really fun night, and I hope you can join us.
Horse of the Year
As I wrote a few weeks ago, Daisy Williams (Y9) is competing twice in the Horse of the Year show next week. Her events, the Newcomers on Thursday 3rd October and Foxhunter on Saturday 5th October, will be shown live on the Internet from 12.50pm and 2.45pm respectively. I don’t have Daisy’s precise times but it is possible to stream the events on ‘Clip My Horse TV’. Thanks to Daisy’s mum for the information.
