Extraordinary Results at Caistor Grammar School Once Again

100% of Caistor Grammar School students gained 9A*-C passes!

The 2015 GCSE results at Caistor Grammar School are “thrilling and amazing with a huge number of School records being broken” said a delighted Headmaster, Roger Hale.

The 94 students established new School records for their average points score per candidate (79.1) and for the English Baccalaureate, with 89.4% of students achieving it.  100% of students gained 9 A*- C passes (a new record) and 97% of students gained 10 A* – C passes – equal to our previous record.  75% of students gained 5 A*- As, whilst over half of students gained 9 A*- As.  The students averaged 11.5 passes each, which is a new School record.  61% of students gained 12 A*- C passes which is another record!  A huge 26.5% of grades were A*, and 66% were A* – A.

All but one of the students gained the Government’s 5 A* – C passes including English and Maths and all of the students gained two passes in science subjects, 96% gained 3 science passes.  There was 100% pass rate in English Language and Literature and 99% in Mathematics.

Amongst the highest performing students at the school are: Caroline Bassett who gained 11A*s and 1A; Jan Chauhan and James Smith, who both gained 10A*s and 2 As; Ankit Gupta, Megan Harding, Ellie Hill and Michael Trueman who gained 9A*s and 3 As; Simone Fraser who achieved 9A*s, 2As and 1 B and Nina Leggett who gained 9A*s, 1A and 2Bs.

We expect that these results will put CGS among the leading schools in the country once again.
