The Autumn Term Concert was a delightful occasion with Caistor Grammar School’s very own orchestra making another seasonal and impressive appearance. Quartets, Ensembles String Groups, improvised pairs, the Caistor Grammar School Choir, the Chamber Choir and the especially assembled Year 7 Choir, who made their debut, all distinguished themselves during a wonderful evening of music making.
Thanks go to everyone who performed (see the concert programme link below) and to Mrs Fran Thompson, our Head of Music, Mrs Kathleen Watson, Music Teacher, and Miss Emily Mackin, our Performing Arts Technician. We are also grateful to the support given prior to the evening by Mrs Angela Warmoth and Mrs Janet Warmoth.
Grateful thanks go to our Technical Team led by Mr Michael Robinson and the Friends of Caistor Grammar School who once again provided refreshments. Photographs of the evening taken by Mr Hale wielding a very large camera for the first time (!) can be seen below by clicking on the link to Flickr.
We were pleased to receive this email which has been anonymised from a parent after the Autumn Concert.
“I just would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all the performers, teachers and helpers last night for the wonderful night I had at your school. The immense talent of all your pupils is simply striking and I just enjoyed every piece of music put on. What a fantastic evening. Thank you very much to everyone.”
All are invited to our Christmas Evening next Tuesday 16th December at 7pm in Caistor Parish Church where you will have another opportunity to enjoy the musical talents of our students.
