How do we inspire our students and stretch them creatively? By giving them opportunities to listen to, and interview, inspirational award-winning authors! Y9 and 10 Gifted and Talented English students from CGS and Healing School took part in a virtual visit to the writing shed of Marcus Sedgwick, a British writer, illustrator and musician who now lives and writes in the French Pyrenees. Pupils and staff were inspired by his experiences in Texas and Mexico when writing his most novel Saint Death, and advice on how to create narratives that engage, challenge and stimulate.
