There is much celebration at Caistor Grammar School as Headmaster, Roger Hale, described the 2015 A level results as “exceptionally pleasing”. “Once again, our students have delivered an amazing set of results and brought great credit to themselves, their teachers and the School” he said.
The highlights include 72.1% of all results being A*-B (excluding General Studies) and 42.3% of all grades being at A* or A. Once again, the pass rate at the School was 100%. Two thirds of students gained at least one A grade and one third of students gained at least one A*. 25% of students achieved three A’s or better and 45% students gained at least 2A’s or better. 14% of all the grades were A*s.
One student, Annie May gained 4A*’s , whilst three gained 3 A*’s with a number of other grades: Oriane Lister, Liam Pettinger and Rhys Williams. Seven students gained 2 A*’s as well as a collection of other grades: Louise Armitage, Will Buckingham, Katherine Darwent, James Fussey, Sreemoyee Ghosh, George Kirkby and Olivia Sowerby.
With these results, Caistor Grammar School will retain its position as one of the leading schools nationally as well as being once again at the top of Lincolnshire’s league tables. We expect to be recorded as achieving 1077.6 per candidate in the Government’s Performance Tables.
