Wednesday 4th March proved to be a very busy and popular ‘Open Evening’ for the annual D&T Exhibition. With the support of the ‘Friends of CGS’, who provided the wine and drinks, visitors were rewarded with a superb display of high quality design & technology work. The work of all D&T students at GCSE, AS and A” were on display and many students attended the evening using the opportunity to gather feedback and test results on their work. The whole evening was incredibly positive and everybody involved in the event can very be proud of their achievements.
The Humber Bank Energy Institute supported the presentation of three prizes during the evening, voted for by the visitors, and were awarded to Phoebe Atkin (1st Place for her iCE-CREAM), Will Dingwall (2nd, Mini Dashboard and Centre Console) and Roisn Mumby (3rd, Drawing Board). Our thanks go to Alastair Robertson and Tim Brant from the Energy Institute for their support of our work and we look forward to developing this further during the summer months.
