The Caistor Grammar School Performing Arts Department is pleased to announce that next year’s school production will be the darkly comic smash hit, Little Shop of Horrors!
This improbable tale of boy meets girl… meets man-eating plant has its roots (every pun intended!) firmly in 1950s B-movies, sci-fi, and the off-Broadway tradition. At its heart, though, it is an uplifting comedy that reminds us all to be careful of the deals we make in pursuit of our dreams.
From stand-out numbers like Be a Dentist and the title track, to the heartfelt dreams of Suddenly Seymour and Somewhere That’s Green, Little Shop of Horrors truly has it all. Plus, of course… there is that plant.
