John Osborne Visit

Posted on 9th July 2013

Hot from Glastonbury, en route to Latitude, Caistor Grammar School was delighted to welcome writer John Osborne on Tuesday 9th July.  John lead a poetry workshop with year 7 and 8 students, and a performance workshop with year 9 students on the subject of Songs:Loved or Loathed.  At lunchtime he gave readings from his books Radio Head and Don’t Need the Sunshine.  He also hosted a question and answer session.  Questions ranged from how to get an agent, the best thing about being on Radio One to who his favourite poet is (Simon Armitage) and how to survive the Edinburgh Festival.
