Arkwright Scholarship

I am delighted to let you know that James Bushby and Guy Lyons have been awarded a prestigious Arkwright Scholarship. To qualify, they had to complete an engineering project. The pupils then have an interview at a university. Once this process is complete, students are given an industrial contact as support through Arkwright opportunities and £600 financial funding to aid their progression to university. School also gains £200 per successful candidate towards school equipment, which in our case, is put towards machinery in the department.

If you wish to encourage your child who is starting Year 11 next September, further details can be read here: http://www.arkwright.org.uk/
